THE TRANQUILLI FAMILY

Sant’Anna Holiday Farm

The holiday farm hosting you is a facility immersed in nature, overlooking the hill of Castelplanio, surrounded by rows of grapes, fruit trees, olive trees, and an organic vegetable garden, cultivated with respect for the environment according to the organic method.

Here you can stay in an apartment, in a room or in our campground, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a holiday en plein air, or in a tent.

Our name is linked to the territory that hosts us and in particular to the church of Saint Anna, now a ruin, which is only a few tens of meters from our property.

Everything is managed by our family, and in particular by Giancarlo Tranquilli, who will be happy to offer you an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in a place where you can relax, enjoy nature and the beauty of our region.

THE HOLIDAY FARM

Organic zero-km products

The farm is the result of Giancarlo's deep bond with and passion for the land; he a man who uses the natural fertility of the soil without over-exploiting the land.

We do not use chemicals to cultivate our fields, respecting the natural cycles, sustainability, and biodiversity of the soil, in perfect equilibrium with the surrounding nature.

That is why the products we obtain are particularly tasty and flavourful.

We grow seasonal fruit and vegetables, Verdicchio DOC grapes, and extra virgin olive oil.

Some of our vegetables are: broad beans, chicory, salads, celery, tomatoes, zucchini flowers, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, green beans, potatoes, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower, fennel.

The orchard, instead, offers plums, strawberries, cherries, apricots, figs, peaches, melons, watermelons, medlars, Japanese persimmons, and apples.

We also have an aromatic garden, where you can collect rosemary, basil, sage, mint, parsley, thyme, oregano, marjoram, arugula, and borage.

Our rows of grapes allow us to produce the world’s best-known and most widely-respected Marche wines: the Verdicchio DOC of the Jesi Castles.

This year our organic olives have produced an excellent extra virgin olive oil, some unique aromas and flavors, the result of a mix of plants grown in an area that is rich in history.

THE TERRITORY

The nature of the Marche Region

The richness of food and wine traditions, the magnificence of the landscape and the natural environment, as well as the culture found at the sites of historical and artistic interest: this is what the Marche region offers, only a few kilometers from our holiday farm.

... and a breathtaking view
